Kona Bayview Inn

Nestled on the hillside in Captain Cook is where you will find Kona Bayview Inn. The roads are well maintained and easy to navigate. They are also windy and there are no street lights, which makes for great star gazing but making it more difficult to find the inn after dark. Below are directions on how to get to Kona Bayview Inn as experience has shown not to totally trust in your GPS. Middle Keei Road has two right angle turns. We are located directly between them at the bend in the road. When you see the sign (circled below), you know you are very close. Note: The driveway is steep but straight (we have had electrical cars that go up it just fine), however really low sports cars need to go slow or the under carriage may scrape.  Aloha and we look forward to your visit!

Directions from Keahole Kona airport:

Directions from NorthNineteen miles south of the airport at the 111 mile marker (there’s a Chevron station on the left) go straight at the light on to Napoopoo road.

Drive 2.8 miles then go straight at the stop sign, onto Middle Keei Road.  Drive one half mile.  Turn right at the Hua Nui private driveway sign (with address numbers). Immediately turn right again down the concrete driveway at the Bayview Inn sign.  On the initial descent, the driveway isn’t easy to see. Stay close to the palms on the left side of the driveway near the reflectors.  Park next to the bottom of the driveway, facing the rock wall. A motion sensor light activates after dark for a well lit parking area. Walk across the lawn to the house/lanai, there is no traditional front door.

Directions from Hilo/Volcano:

Directions from south.8 miles past mile marker 105, turn left on Middle Keei Road.  You will see a large sign, Macadamia Nut Factory, as well as a Hawaiian warrior sign where you turn.

Drive 1.8 miles.  Turn right at the Hua Nui private driveway sign (with address numbers). Immediately turn right again down the concrete driveway at the Bayview Inn sign.  On the initial descent, the driveway isn’t easy to see.
